March 9, 2013 — Baluarte, Ilocos Sur
Entrance is free. Hmm, well, we didn’t have much pictures, especially in interesting places here (like the Butterfly Farm [closed at that time], Live Pet Show..). I think it’s better to go here during peak season (April – May). There’s not much tourists around when we went there (eh kasi hapon na rin nun nung pumunta kami haha).

So this is the map of upper Luzon.. Yung red line, well hindi talaga yan *halos* yung dinaanan namin, haha. Pero pataas yan… (sa next blog yung sa Pagudpud, and Pagudpud is located at the uppermost part of Luzon)
Bago pa mag-summer officially ay nauna na kaming magSummer vacation, haha. Syempre, inunahan na namin ang mas matinding init. Madalas pag summer ay swimming, so swimming – check! Pero saan? Sabi ko sa kanila sawa na ko sa swimming pool, so beach/dagat – check! And ayoko na sa central Luzon (Bulacan, Laguna, Quezon, etc) kasi madalas na kami dun (dahil mas malapit). Kaya nagplano kami na yung mas malayo-layo naman sa kabihasnan (at sobrang layo nga talaga hahaha). And so we went into a trip last March to the Ilocos region for 3 days: first was in Vigan, Ilocos Sur (I still have our itinerary (or just a printed list of hotels and inns, and famous spots in Ilocos :D).
