There’s a quote that says, “We meet people for a reason. Either they’re a blessing or a lesson.” But it can also be both: That person’s a BLESSING because he/she has been a channel of God’s blessings, either tangible or not; that he/she becomes a blessing to you because of the love and care you receive from that person. Then, a LESSON also, for knowing someone who differs from you can make or break you; knowing and being with him/her can be God’s instrument of discipline and refinement.
We need each other. We aren’t perfect people. We are all broken people, but as one Casting Crowns’ song says, we can be broken together, that we may be whole by knowing more of God’s love through our relationships with other people.
You could be both a blessing and a lesson to somebody.

Pambaliw lang na text message galing sa kaibigan ko.. Haha, pero yung totoo, bakit nga ba?
In perpendicular, este parallel to that, bakit kailangan mapagod sa love? or habang nagmamahal? Nakakapagod ba talaga?
Parang yung sa old commercial ng isang anti-dandruff shampoo: “I really don’t know.”
…Kaya nga ba minsan ayokong napapadaan sa Youtube, kung anu-ano mga nakikita kong interesting. Haha! :D
love this movie.. so not the cliche-type :)
Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn’t jealous. It doesn’t sing its own praises. It isn’t arrogant. It isn’t rude. It doesn’t think about itself. It isn’t irritable. It doesn’t keep track of wrongs. It isn’t happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth. Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up.
~1 Corinthians 13:4-7, GW~
This verse just popped into my mind suddenly while I was discussing something with a friend (yeah, well, it’s about love and relationship, and its apparent problems~) through private message. I said, “Love isn’t self-seeking” (NIV); that if a person’s doing a favor for his/her beloved, it’s because of unconditional love. Well, if it is REALLY like one. But we can’t judge other’s feelings, whether it’s genuine or not.

One issue that could come up from this is the sensationalized infidelity themes in our (Filipino) movies and TV dramas nowadays. Continue reading
